Description
The specimen is regrettably rather discoloured but shows an aneurysm some 4.0 cm across arising
in the first part of the subclavian artery. This young man died following rupture of the aneurysm
which occurred at the time of a fight. It is not known how the aneurysm came to be there but it is
possibly traumatic in origin.
